La Decks was founded with one goal: to give customers looking for a premium contractor an option when it comes to Northeast Louisiana deck builders. Founder Brad Johns brought more than 15 years’ experience to La Decks, having created one of the most successful deck companies in Louisiana history 17 years ago. After he sold the original company, folks in the local community started to ask him to jump back on board.
With La Decks, Brad decided it was time to make a comeback! Over the next few years, Brad assembled a top-notch team of deck experts and La Decks thrived. He retired from La Decks in 2025 and passed the company to his brother, Eric — who’s been there since the beginning.
